Food cravings?!

Yeap, just read an article about food cravings,

it's beneficial for all of us to understand and to insight our health condition.

Sweet, salty, icy, here are some examples :

Sweet

Chocolates never fail to perk you up huh?

The fact is, magnesium is running low in your body.
Chocolates contain adequate amount of magnesium your body needs.
On the other hand, magnesium is important for nerve signalling.

Women's magnesium level depletes during menstrual cycle,
so there is no doubt that a female who undergoes menstruation crave for sweet foods.

Fatty
Seductive, isn't it?

Fatty foods need extra miles of energy to be digested, 
In this case, it is effective to draw your attention away from your stress and depression.

LOL. Now I know why I long for McDonalds or even meaty dishes when I'm under pressure. =)
MEAT MEAT MEAT!


Salty

French Fries, irresistible.
Salt or Sodium Chloride, NaCl, that's what your body lacks of.
It is essential for your body to regulates processes or biochemical reactions.
Homeostasis, that's the term, ensuring all your body cells work best all the time.


Ice

I bet everyone will choose to drop a big handful of ice cubes in you cup right?
Especially in this boiling weather.

For those who crave for ice or cold treats, probably countering insufficient of iron.
Some scientist believe that some victims may have inflammation in the mouth,
causing them to crave for icy foods in order to relieve the misery.

 General craving
Take care of your diet!


Everyone does crave for food without reasons sometimes,
Nothing wrong with that.
Scroll your Facebook home page, people do voice out they crave for this and that.
Nonetheless, it is an indicator of insufficient sleep.
In such condition, your body secretes appetite hormones, ghrelin.
Getting more sleep, secretes another hormone, leptin which suppresses the appetite. 
So, sleep earlier!
